On 4 July 2027, we celebrate a very special anniversary: 20 years of Mesnerhaus. For this historic milestone, we have invited one of the most fascinating chefs in the world to the Lungau.

Martin Klein, Executive Chef of the legendary two-Michelin-star Restaurant Ikarus at Red Bull Hangar-7 in Salzburg, is travelling exclusively to Mauterndorf for us. The Alsace-born chef has shaped international haute cuisine for more than two decades by bringing together the world’s best chefs at his stove month after month. With the same uncompromising passion for outstanding products as Josef Steffner – yet with his very own unmistakable signature – the two exceptional chefs will create an anniversary menu that sets new standards.

A familiar face will ensure the perfect wine pairing: Manuel Beer. The former Mesnerhaus team member and award-winning “Marmite Youngster” now pours at the renowned IGNIV by Andreas Caminada in Zurich. He is returning for this evening to use his fine instinct to select exactly the wines that will make this milestone unforgettable.
