On June 12, 2027, something happens at the Mesnerhaus that has never happened within our historic walls before. We invite you to an absolute premiere: pizza as an exclusive fine dining experience.

Our guest for the evening is Christoph Hawle, a passionate pizza visionary from Vienna. He is not a classically trained professional chef, but a virtuoso driven by sheer passion. Since 2020, he has devoted himself to the art of Italian dough-making and developed it into an entirely new culinary dimension. His previous pop-ups in Vienna, including appearances at acclaimed award-winning restaurants, sold out completely. Once you have tasted his creations featuring scallop tartare and truffle, or nduja with stracciatella, you will see pizza in a completely new light.

Now Christoph is bringing his visionary ideas to Lungau for the very first time. Together with host Josef Steffner and Sebastian, a unique menu is taking shape at the Mesnerhaus: four courses of pizza that artfully bring the finest ingredients – such as caviar, truffle, exquisite fish and excellent meat – to the plate. Humble in origin, masterful in execution, and absolutely unforgettable in taste.
