At the Mesnerhaus Mauterndorf, a historic house in the mountains dating back to 1420, we offer our guests not only culinary delights, but also artistic inspiration. Here, in our listed 4-toque restaurant, art and pleasure have found a very special combination. This is a place where Maria and Josef Steffner \u2013 not only as hosts, but also as art lovers \u2013 want to pamper their guests with all their senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season we would like to present our current art exhibition, which has been selected by Maria and Josef Steffner with great enthusiasm. They are always on the lookout for beautiful, aesthetic inspiration and talented people from all over the world. This passion for art is reflected in the current exhibition by Italian artist Antonella Zazzera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAntonella Zazzera, an artist from Todi, Perugia, has created a unique world with her works that has fascinated us from the very beginning. Her sculptures, which at first glance seem to have nothing to do with the world of textiles, cast a spell over us,\u201d enthuses Maria Steffner. In her works, one senses a deep connection with the craft, and she shows us the beauty and diversity of art in an unexpected form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of copper in Zazzera’s works has a profound historical significance. Josef Steffner emphasizes: \u201cCopper was one of the first metals to be used by humans for processing. It has a long history and a special significance in the development of mankind.\u201d This connection to history and tradition fascinates us, and it is an honor to present this art in the Mesnerhaus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mesnerhaus is not only a place for culinary enjoyment, but also a space where art and culture are celebrated. Antonella Zazzera\u2019s sculptures are framed by the historic setting and blend naturally into the atmosphere of this extraordinary place. Maria and Josef Steffner combine art and enjoyment to create an experience that goes beyond the plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
